Terms of Service
Effective: 27 May 2026 · Version v1.0-2026-05-27
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, mobile interfaces and services (collectively, the "Platform") operated by Bombay No 3 LLP ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, booking a ticket, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms constitute an electronic contract under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder, and do not require any physical or digital signature to be enforceable.
1. The Service
The Platform allows users to discover live events and purchase admission tickets ("Tickets") to those events. The Company acts as an authorised ticketing agent of the event organiser ("Organiser"), and the contract for attendance is between you and the Organiser.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to register an account or purchase Tickets. By booking on behalf of minors, you confirm that you are the parent or lawful guardian.
3. Bookings & payment
- A booking is confirmed only upon successful payment and issuance of a booking reference; held seats expire if not paid within 8 minutes.
- Ticket prices are inclusive of any applicable admission tax. A convenience fee is charged separately and is subject to Goods and Services Tax (currently 18% — CGST 9% + SGST 9% for intra-state supplies in Maharashtra; IGST 18% otherwise).
- Payment is collected by the Company on behalf of the Organiser and settled net of fees and taxes.
- To deter scalping, we enforce a maximum of 4 bookings per phone number, email, or account per show. Bookings in excess of this limit may be cancelled without refund of fees.
4. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy. In summary: bookings may be cancelled by the user up to 24 hours before the scheduled start of the show, with refund of the ticket subtotal to the original payment method. Convenience fee and applicable GST are non-refundable.
5. Conduct at the venue
- Tickets are valid only for the show, date, and seat specified. Re-entry policy is set by the venue.
- Right of admission is reserved by the Organiser and venue. Holders may be denied entry for intoxication, dangerous items, prohibited recording, or other valid cause.
- Patrons must comply with venue safety, fire-code and security instructions.
6. Force majeure & rescheduling
If a show is cancelled, postponed, or materially altered by the Organiser, we will notify you using the contact details associated with your booking and offer either a credit, a rescheduled booking, or a refund of the ticket subtotal, at the Organiser's instruction. Where an event is cancelled due to force majeure (act of God, war, riot, epidemic, government order, etc.), refunds remain limited to the ticket subtotal.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the Platform — including but not limited to the Company's logos, designs, software, copy, photographs, and seat-map artwork — is the property of the Company or its licensors and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999. You may not reproduce or commercially exploit it without permission.
8. Prohibited use
- Reselling Tickets at a price higher than face value plus fees is prohibited and may result in cancellation without refund.
- You will not use bots, scripts, or other automated means to access the Platform or purchase Tickets.
- You will not attempt to interfere with the security of the Platform, access other users' data, or post unlawful content.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the Ticket(s) in question in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its directors, officers and employees from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your wrongful or negligent use of the Platform.
11. Grievance redressal
In compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the Company has appointed a Grievance Officer:
- Name: Chintan Pavlankar
- Email: grievance@tickets.example
- Address: Plot 21, 3rd Floor, Bandra West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400050, India
We endeavour to acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days, as required by law.
12. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version, effective date, and your acceptance are recorded against your booking. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
